OK, I had overlooked the thing with the clinker / aerated concrete double-shell (thought aerated concrete single-shell). That is, if done correctly, not bad. Because with soundproofing you can build the interior walls in aerated concrete with calcium silicate bricks, and on the outside you still have the facing brickwork. And you don't often hang wall cabinets on the exterior wall either. Is it just aerated concrete, or aerated concrete plus mineral wool? And was there a reason why there are only 16cm of mineral wool on the calcium silicate brick? I thought there are now anchors with which you can go beyond the magic 16cm shell distance...

There are, but they are probably more expensive and rather exotic – besides, the wall is already 47 cm thick. I believe it also has something to do a bit with the habits of our planner and the construction company. The U-values are still relatively good – with aerated concrete even better than KFW55 from the mason with aerated concrete, KS with 0.2 W/m²K is still tolerable. I’m curious what our planner will announce on Thursday, whether it will be enough for KFW55 without aerated concrete (then we would choose KS).

I vaguely remember that one should stick to one type of stone and not use various kinds.

With aerated concrete and KS, this does not seem to be such a big problem - we have received many offers.

We were advised against it. I assume that you are primarily concerned with Ytong as an insulating stone and KS as soundproofing, right?

Specifically the combination of aerated concrete/calcium silicate brick or just masonry combinations in general?
