If I may briefly summarize:

You obviously have no idea about house construction, are dissatisfied with all providers so far, advice from the forum is hardly welcome if it doesn't match your opinion, and you label experienced experts from the forum as confused or clueless.
Additionally: In the craftsmen sector and thus in house construction, it is still a seller's market. Nobody courts you because of your money. On the contrary, you should be glad if you get to pay someone.

So: Why should anyone help you?

Of the many nonsense things I have read from you so far, I find this one succinct to describe your, in my opinion, completely wrong basic attitude:

I recommend living in a rental and canceling the house construction or thoroughly having your head washed.

Thank you for your factual contribution.

I have understood that we need an architect and possibly a new general contractor if you don't want to work your way into every last detail yourself. I have indeed taken that advice and I am grateful for it.

Otherwise, tips like "The heating must suit us" are little help if you don’t say how to determine that (even if you specifically ask for it).
Also, tips for questions that were not asked and without any background knowledge of us, our needs, our situation, hobbies, etc., are of little help – especially in their execution.

Or responding to misunderstandings with "Jupp" instead of maybe providing an explanation (example construction time) doesn’t meet with much understanding either.

Nor does calling a >10k more expensive projector (Sony VPL-XW7000ES) bad technology – that gets downright ridiculous.

I also don’t feel like having to argue why I don’t ride a bike better when asking a question about a car tire.

Yes, I don’t have much knowledge about building yet (we have a plot of land, that’s it), but HOW “tips” are partially given here is also unpleasant. And what I really can’t stand is when people apparently just want to needle. Questions I asked in the last conversation were ignored; instead, statements were taken out of context to comment on them nonsensically.

So what do you expect?

– that directly underscores the experience made here. That is a derogatory expression that in no way helps.

I asked here for help. Since help here is free, I cannot expect it. But those who do not want to help don’t have to. But from “experts” I expect at least different behavior.

So many thanks to everyone who really helped me, but this leads nowhere here and in the time I have to justify myself here, I’d rather invest in “learning smarter.”

Then it must be the swimming trunks. At a 6m distance from the projector, you’re already throwing a 5m diagonal onto the wall (with the model mentioned). Even 36 sqm living room space is not enough for that.

If you are constantly dissatisfied and clash everywhere, it might not be the others' fault.
Maybe you should first realize that you are asking for something. This does not only concern the forum here – but especially the people who are supposed to build you a new home.

Maybe that’s your best idea so far. To say it very clearly once again: the reason why many of your questions remain unanswered is in my opinion that you still have no plan, both literally and figuratively. There isn’t one right answer to "Which heating system"? etc., but almost always applies: "It depends."

And to briefly address your initial question: The question of concrete or timber construction is much discussed without one construction type having emerged as the better one. Both have their pros and cons. There should already be enough information here and on the net about that.

With a total budget of 1 million or more, however, one generally does not go to a general contractor or prefab house builder. Get yourself an architect who deserves the name. He will design the house for you the way you want it. And yes, he usually has companies he works with more often, which then submit an offer for the work. But you don’t have to take them if you don’t like them.
And yes, 2 years is not an unusual construction period from planning to moving in. It already starts with the search for the right building partner. So good luck and maybe we can help you better when your questions are a bit more concrete.

Why should I please be satisfied when my wishes are ignored without any valid argumentation and work is done against my interests. If there are reasons for that, one can think about them, but not like this.

You are right about the forum, I have already commented on that.
When it comes to building, I still see it differently. I do not ask or beg and I am not content with what I get. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be able to afford a house with our equity today.
I commission a service from a contractor and pay for it. This is not a favor. And accordingly, I am allowed to have expectations.

Thank you. That is an (almost value-free) and factual answer to the question, without having to discuss the area, the possibility of a basement, or the technology of my projector. Honestly, I did not expect that anymore.
Thank you!

Well, our experience is that building a house is more than just demanding and paying. For things to run smoothly, in my opinion, the client is an important part of a team where everyone ideally pursues the same goal.

Depending on the market situation, as an architect I wouldn’t even make an offer to customers with your attitude or would quote such an inflated price that the claims for recourse or the additional nervous strain are already included.
