Then the architect really messed up big time. That could have been determined by one of the first LPs (should/must).
But oh well. Nothing will be changed anymore. I also find solar pointless with air-to-water heat pumps, especially with the orientation even more so as a token function.
I would have the entire roof fully flat covered with photovoltaics without storage calculated and consider whether it’s worth it. And then see if the additional cost of a mounting system justifies it. And then you can argue about the appearance.
But I think the mounting system is not worth it.
