Smarthome Philips Hue and Somfy TaHoma experiences

Hmm, and again a few obstacles for which I need a solution :confused:.

The issue with the switches is the smallest problem here; in an emergency, I would accept them. Currently, there is simply a strong urge to try it without them, since we have managed well without them for years, but not with the roller shutters – here I lack the experience, which is why I also want to have the option to set switches.

Alexa seems to work with Bosch.

The issue with the Wi-Fi and the venetian blinds is a shame; the range problem could actually appear here again, I still have to see if there is some way in the Bosch system to increase the range with an extra option (second box in the basement or something similar).

The issue with the wind and light sensors is exactly the opposite here; I would like to have them run directly with the control of the venetian blinds and not via HomeKit or similar.
(Though I can’t find anything about HomeKit with Rademacher; they advertise with Alexa and Google, but not with Apple.)

I can see that I still have to think about this in more detail and then make compromises; unfortunately, not everything seems to be available.

Isn't HomeKit exactly the "central unit" in between that manages the corresponding control of the scenarios....? HomeKit is not just Siri...

Here you are probably right. Sorry for the confusion, Rademacher does not offer HomeKit directly. Currently only Siri (via Shortcuts)... Home integration only via detours again :(

Otherwise, also take a look at Enocean to see what product solutions they currently offer for your projects. In two years, however, everything will probably change again, or the product range will expand with others as well... :)

Yes, it is, but especially on the topic of wind and venetian blinds, the wind sensor fulfills a very important task to avoid damage. Therefore, I would like to implement this connection specifically without the involvement of others...
