I don't understand why so many builders choose KNX. Way too overpriced and simply not very smart when integration of the air heat pump or other systems is not possible.

Well, then you probably have a lot to catch up on if there are problems with such basic things.

A motion detector that can tell whether someone is sleeping or not has not yet been invented, I think.

It is about detecting presence even though the person is sleeping. Not about detecting whether a person is sleeping or not.

Works also without sounds with the appropriate detectors... but that is not the topic of this thread.

But there is one that reacts to movement and noises.

One? Several. Sensors with noise detection, movement via IR or RF, presence even without movement... all no problem with KNX.

Why don’t you write it publicly? Your name somehow suggests that you want to sell something "different" ;)

As others have already said, in the long time I have been dealing with KNX, I have never come across anything that (assuming an interface) could not be integrated in some form.

I just don't want to start a fundamental discussion. Everyone should decide for themselves

Come on, spill it! First making claims and then backing down is not the polite way. What do you prefer? This is a "Smart Home" thread and not a KNX thread after all.
