I suspect that too. The basement is costly.
The double garage is not yet decided. Maybe we will just build a carport there first.
With the kitchen and bathroom, I am not sure if much saving is possible without significantly reducing comfort. At the moment we have a very small kitchen. When there are two of us, we are constantly in each other’s way. That’s no fun.

What is this small canopy in front of the living room for. I would keep the side completely open to get to your forest with larger equipment.

Cosmetics to speed up the internal family approval process. Maybe a conservatory will be built here someday. But thanks for the hint. The area should really remain open for now until the garden is roughly finished.

I would see this as a prerequisite, unless you have actually dealt with the topic of ventilation. In that case, I would rather prioritize the garage issue lower. Great decision, but there should still be enough capacity for one more device in the open-plan living area. You should first know your furniture exactly or clarify where you want to sit/lie, and then plan the rooms accordingly; for that, exact furniture measurements are indispensable. The dining area will be very tight anyway; this is noticeable even without measurements, especially compared to the kitchen, which is quite large. And then a fireplace plus a FHB? And do you really want to sit like that on the sofa in the living room with all residents, watching TV only straight ahead? A parapet height of 75 cm at the head wall of the bed on the ground floor also seems hardly sensible to me; the windows at the dining table cannot be opened as indicated. Open-plan living area rather small, hallway huge with an outward-opening door. What exactly does that mean?

It will be cramped in the garage. The underground parking remains a pipe dream. Around here, without a basement, the cars then stand in front of the garage.

why are these then in the north and the guest room in the southwest, just move kitchen-dining-living to the southwest and it is light and bright and beautiful
