Size of the bedroom and children's room

Hello everyone,

we have received the draft for our house from our builder.
The gross sizes (with a 1m knee wall) of the children's rooms are 14 sqm and the master bedroom is 16 sqm.

Is that enough? Somehow I can't imagine what that means and am now uncertain.

It always depends on the cut - so nothing can be said about it. We have 10sqm for our bedroom and that is enough for us.

sometimes 16m² are worse than 10m². It always depends on the layout of the room. Just upload the floor plan best. Then you can also see if it’s enough regarding the furnishing etc.

For comparison, our two children’s rooms as well as the master bedroom are each 16 sqm, with the knee wall being about 150 cm.

From experience in my parents’ house, I know that this space is sufficient, even though more space would always be nicer.

In the master bedroom, it comes down to the layout in my opinion. A double bed 2 x 2 meters, a nightstand on each side, and space to walk results in 4 meters in width.
In depth, I also come to about 4 meters: 2 meters for the depth of the bed, the aisle between bed and closet, as well as space for the closet.
Of course, this also works with a different layout and the closet on the side instead of opposite the bed; we find it best opposite.
It doesn’t need more, but less would be cramped in my opinion.

...I simply have no idea how small the rooms actually are. Here is our floor plan... Although where it says "Ankleide," there will be a guest room/ironing room. The rooms are actually quite well laid out. -At least I think so...

Without dimensions on the floor plan, unfortunately, this cannot be assessed.
