That would of course mess up our whole concept ;-) I think it's not for us at the moment, but I will certainly research a bit more on this......
I know that feeling, it happened to me about 10-15 times ;)
From classic 3 floors, to a house with a granny flat, to 4 stories with a roof terrace, to a bungalow with an extension for a children's room, we've been through everything. Everything has to find its place first and above all you have to perceive what is really important to you yourself.
You have now reached a point where in my opinion it would be necessary to get professional help on board. I would therefore recommend that you find an architect.
A few more comments on your floor plan:
I don’t like the play corner either. The slant somehow doesn’t fit at all.
Here are 2 suggestions for how I would do it better:

Here the play corner is still present. The wardrobe fits into the niche.

Or like this, then you would have enough space for a large wardrobe including a small bench, so you can sit down when putting shoes on/off.
In any case, I would try to create a sightline from the small sliding window at the bottom of the plan, to the living room entrance and the front door.
Is the couch in the size of your own?
Upper floor: The master bedroom is very tight. With a raw construction dimension of 3.07 m, you end up with a bit more than 3 meters left. Our double bed is 1.95 m wide. So that leaves about 53 cm on each side. It's possible, but not comfortable.
I would therefore place the bed with the headboard against the east wall.
You have just a bit more than 2 meters of closet length for both of you. Are you sure that is enough? For me/us that would be far too little and would only be enough for one person.
The hallway on the upper floor might be extremely dark without the double casement window.
