Single-room control with cooling function (Is underfloor heating with LWWP sensible?)

As box es writes, a heat pump actually does not need individual room controllers, then you can also cool. But, if you simply want to use it as you installed it, you do need the special controllers for cooling. I also have an air-water heat pump, but without individual room controllers. In summer, I then manually close the tiled rooms for cooling, as it is really very unpleasant. For the bedrooms, however, it is a good thing.

Ah I understood you have a ground source heat pump, meaning passive cooling is possible (then for me it’s a no-brainer to take it). With active cooling via air-water heat pump... I have no experience there.

I personally do exactly as my predecessor. In summer I close off the rooms with tiles (for us only bathrooms, I hate tiles in living areas) because they really get very unpleasantly cold. With parquet, on the other hand, it leads to really (for me) pleasant temperatures at the feet in summer.

There is no single room control in our house either, because in a modern house it only causes the efficiency of the heating system to decrease, and that without any gain in comfort (fast regulation doesn’t work with underfloor heating anyway). We have a central control unit in the living room, in which the dew point monitor is also integrated (you definitely need that).

How it is technically implemented with single room control... I can’t help you there unfortunately, I have never dealt with it.
