Apart from the ethical question of fraudulently obtaining subsidies, it doesn't even make sense! It's like breaking into a house and stealing only expired milk from 2017. Why would anyone want to do that?

Additional costs for KfW 40 compared to KfW 55 correspond roughly to the interest advantage for the 297/298 (depending on the construction type this can vary slightly, but the difference usually remains minimal).

The requirements for a second residential unit are also expensive and will eat up the interest advantage.

And the 300, which actually offers good conditions (but also has many more requirements), would also be blocked by this construction. (If it would even be possible at all.)

When I’m bored, I’ll ask KfW whether you can apply for 297 (own use) for two residential units. If that’s possible, you can pack up your moralizing again.

By the way: Elsewhere in this forum, people complained that development plans have so many pages and, otherwise, there is a lot of outcry about the numerous regulations. Exactly for this reason, it is like this, because there are more and more people who use most of their energy to circumvent such rules or find loopholes. That is how pages also fill up to prevent this. The fact that everything is regulated endlessly with us is also due to the chicken-and-egg principle and thus also because it has meanwhile become a sport or socially acceptable to exploit the state to the maximum for one’s own advantage. You should also quote the exact text used and its intention in your request. And: Of course, the topic of morality is overused or used as a "club" in some places. But in its original sense, it is something meaningful in social coexistence.

You don’t need to. This is clearly described on the KfW homepage...

The KFW 300 funding program is unfortunately not an option for me as a single man with a girlfriend...

Regarding construction costs KFW55 versus KFW40...
Since I want to do a lot myself, it might actually pay off...

If, for example, it’s only the insulation under the floor slab, I don’t think that will definitely eat up the interest advantage.

Definitely. Enough parking spaces are of course available. Just from caravans, our own two cars, etc.
