Thanks. Do people do that at home? I know climbing walls... is it fun at 2.60 meter room height??? that's like kindergarten...

I have seen a variant in many prefabricated houses where no ceiling is installed in some rooms, but the room is then used as a storage area. That’s how we imagined it.

Bouldering is not indoor climbing - height is completely irrelevant. Bouldering is always done with a jump height, there's a mat below and no rope. More important are overhangs and cleverly set routes that require interesting moves. Therefore, I would really put my bouldering cave under the roof, maybe add a few angles there so you have different inclinations in the overhang and rather do without an open roof truss. Or leave it open as a gag and maybe bring a climbing wall into the house with an open floor plan *g* - everything is possible and if the wife likes setting routes... You’ll probably get a campus board as a housewarming gift instead of bread and salt, right?

Attached are the revised upper floor and basement. We have decided to merge the office from the upper floor and the office in the basement in order to create larger rooms on the upper floor. By slightly shifting the staircase, the guest room on the ground floor also gains a few square meters.

That is a living basement. What kind of vehicles are supposed to go into the garage? 4 meters cannot be serious?!

If anything, it’s half storage, half basement living area, although that is the work area. Since it’s in the basement anyway, it can be larger. I just placed the garage there for illustration purposes to show where it should go. 4 meters is probably too short since my car is almost 4 meters long. I think it will rather be a 6-meter-long garage.
