Here is a similar project: I have to say, I find the Walser houses quite nice with their massive basement floors and solid wood construction. Exposed concrete inside is not really my thing.

Thanks for the link.
However, I have to agree with Rick. In our project, due to the lack of competence of the local craftsmen in reinforced concrete construction, we went for a reinforced concrete base with a KS structure.
A BBS ceiling made of solid wood would have made the project easier as well, but it was not possible due to our spans. (Unless we had accepted the 40cm thick wooden ceiling)

I can't say anything about solid wood, but the combination of reinforced concrete + timber frame construction is widespread (usually as basement + ground floor/attic). For example, we have basement reinforced concrete + ground floor/attic timber.

In retrospect, I would have liked to build everything from reinforced concrete - I also don't really believe it is more expensive. However, you really have to meticulously plan all electrical and HVAC lines in advance. Ideally from the beginning with suspended ceilings, as this allows you to correct or revise things here and there afterwards.

Exposed concrete is another challenge altogether - ask beforehand whether it is even possible/feasible, many concrete plants have no desire to deal with it (at least not for "small" orders). If exposed concrete, in my opinion, it would be smarter to work with in-situ concrete - this way you can avoid the disadvantages of precast walls (also in terms of transport), and end up with significantly fewer joints.

Faith can move mountains, but it does not change reality. Building houses with reinforced concrete is a special feature. And special features cost money, like any special request. It only becomes affordable in mass production - see German terraced house. As a completely individually planned house, it becomes more expensive.

I’d rather not contradict here, and rick will surely be able to answer more authoritatively. With exposed concrete, cast-in-place concrete is the cat in the bag. Precast parts are on average much more elegant and uniform in structure here. The disadvantage is obviously larger joints. And here you have fairly large tolerances that you, as the client, have to accept. Overall, it is therefore always more expensive than standard, because, as already mentioned, few offer it in acceptable quality.

In-situ concrete is even more expensive. External insulation is usually required here as well.
With (semi-) precast parts, it usually stops at 5 meters.
Only a few companies can provide fair-faced concrete in good quality. Reinforcement steel must then be rust-free and protected throughout the entire construction phase, etc.
It is significantly more expensive.
