I would leave out the pillar and garden gate. That forces a second maneuver. Have you tried this on the plan with your cars to see if it works?

That's like hitting the jackpot.

[QUOTE="Lheeman, post: 476496, member: 54345"] Unfortunately, your solution is not an option for us because there is a very busy through road to the south and we definitely cannot drive backward onto it. It was planned that way so that maneuvering is still possible. Unfortunately, the property is very narrow on the street side (just under 20 meters).[ /QUOTE]

Well then, good luck maneuvering in the future. I would extend the yard at least 1 meter to the north.

The house looks coherent. I just think it doesn't quite fit on the plot.

The garage should be further back.

If the west side is built on in 30 years, it will get dark.
Never say never.
Inheritance, densification.

I find the garden at the back rather small.

I would drastically reduce the utility room and eliminate an open space.

I'm also not sure if I would keep the kitchen there.

At first glance very nice; on second glance:
- the house looks too big for the plot - the house does not stand out and nothing remains of the plot except garden.
- the proportion of traffic areas & air space compared to usable area is unconvincing
- the kitchen is poorly dimensioned and does not match the otherwise generous space the house aims for. (at least the kitchen is granted a sliding door to the hallway .. or a glass door.
- How is the utility room supposed to be used? The layout is not clear to me either - I would redesign the entire area.
- The lower shower, driveway etc. have already been extensively mentioned.
- I would provide a lift from the start - the intended area can be used as a storage room until then.
- In old age people also like to sleep separately sometimes, so I would want to make the children's room somewhat more attractive. The room has too little window space in my opinion.

I don’t see Bauhaus either - but modern cubist - which I also like; but it does not fit the plot and the interior layout leaves much to be desired. - The closet space in the dressing room would not be enough for us - over the years a lot of stuff accumulates.

What would you think of this adjustment?

Red - mark out
Yellow - large glass door or sliding door
Light blue - extension of the courtyard area

Additionally, we will probably actually locate the access to the bathroom on the upper floor opposite the stairs and remove the access from the dressing room to the bathroom.

I think that's better. Those were also my criticisms. The courtyard with regard to the turning radius also benefits. Tell me, what might still be implemented by the architect as an idea: what if the utility room + garage were swapped with the courtyard? Garage then as edge development in the east. Entrance then more where the airlock is now, so just swap everything. The advantage would be that you get light and sun through the then free wall in the kitchen. The courtyard could then be enclosed with a hedge or low wall.
