Silicone resin or dispersion - Which paint for interior?

We had two on site, both would paint with dispersion, the other offers "from the internet" (but also from local, trained painters) were mixed, as soon as it became a bit cheaper silicone resin instead of dispersion.

I always use dispersion paints when I paint.

And why? In a property? Don't you want your wall to "breathe"...?

He says his silicate paints absorb moisture and release it again. Correct. Dispersions block. But in our heated houses, whose windows are taped with [SigaCrall] and nothing gets in, I may not want moisture from the air to be absorbed. Generally, modern houses are too dry anyway. The fact is: living in rooms painted with dispersion paints is also very comfortable.

Dispersion paint is breathable.
... maybe your walls breathe. Mine don’t. Because: walls can’t breathe. They are doing very well with their/my coatings. Everything fits. Works.
