The dishwasher is at least in our family the appliance that is most likely to break down, no matter the brand so far. Somehow I have long lost hope that it will last long, even in the future kitchen o_O Last time we were lucky that it was still just barely under warranty... But your batch of Monday devices sounds pretty bad.

Somehow I’m almost glad that we buy the refrigerator and microwave as freestanding ourselves. I had been a bit sad that it’s not so pretty, but at least you save yourself the hassle of installing and uninstalling and don’t have to coordinate with the kitchen studio... Of course, it can still break down.

The warranty period has not yet expired. Since these are recurring faults for which there have already been service calls, he does not need to invoke the reversal of the burden of proof.

Request the dealer in writing (post - registered mail with proof of delivery?) to carry out the repair. Then the right to a replacement device applies after two failed repair attempts or something like rescission aka money back.

My layman's opinion.

That dealers try to wiggle out of the warranty like this is extremely cheeky. It is then his duty to take care of the repair. If he does it through the factory service, that's also fine. But every dealer in Germany has to provide at least 2 years warranty on new goods!

See it like , moreover the reversal of the burden of proof now occurs only after one year (instead of after 6 months as before).

I can report on the purchase of a washer dryer from a wholesaler. Only after the 3rd repair attempt was the product taken back. The third repair attempt was probably more expensive in the end than a replacement.

But wholesalers are different again. The business transaction is always between merchants. Accordingly, a different right of defect remediation applies. Or do you mean a large electronics store?

I am always surprised that still, mostly men, fall for these gimmicks. The cooktop is not full-surface, it has "only" 7.3kW like all the others, and you cannot place the pots as freely as promised. The other thing is, who as a home cook cooks simultaneously with 6 cooking utensils? The more electronics built into a device, the more things can break, and the repair costs will make you cry. Whether the pasta cooks on this very expensive cooktop or on the device that is half the price, the pasta doesn’t care. In terms of taste, that is, the result, it is the same.
