O o o, where have we landed! Men! Philosophizing about kitchen appliances. Say, stop that! Let the women do it and take care of the lawnmower and the spade. Or is the new generation "Zwangstöpchensitzen Kinderkrippe" so set on the woman doing the hard work and the man foaming the sauces? Like in Africa, the woman also has to go to the field and the man chatters. Karsten

Completely objectively, I have to advise you, if you’re not exactly giving money away, that this pyrolysis function is much too expensive relative to its benefit.
On the one hand the purchase price, on the other the energy costs during the process.
Besides, all items, racks and rails have to be removed from the oven... (if they’re even supplied!!!!! Many providers skip nice-to-haves in the oven because they don’t withstand the temperatures anyway.... and before something breaks, the customer is dissatisfied, so they forgo soft-close rails and such stuff which you actually do need)
that means: screwdriver out. When are you going to do that? Then less and less often, time is scarce. The rest has to soak in the sink anyway.
In the meantime, you can quickly clean the oven by hand. For the money saved, I would take one at eye level with a door that can be retracted.

I love cooking passionately, and I can also keep the household in order.
At the same time, I can also roll up my sleeves and take care of rough jobs.
That's called versatile [emoji14]

Hello everyone, I would like to briefly chime in on the topic of pyrolysis. We have had pyrolysis for 2.5 years and I never want to do without it again. We use our oven frequently and also do things in it that "mess up" the oven. Of course, you can always wipe the oven right away, then you don’t need pyrolysis. But who actually does that? And in my new kitchen, the drawer can also stay inside, so the drawers and the tray get clean too. Best regards Birgit
