Should the refrigerator be freestanding or integrated?

Ok thank you very much, that exactly confirms my feeling! I just stumbled over the fact that most of my friends have integrated the thing - however, for most of them the device is also not at the "end" of the kitchen, but in the middle. Then it might also make more sense to build a cabinet around it...

Does anyone by chance have anything from the category "what you absolutely should pay attention to!" regarding a [DunstABzugshaube] or an induction cooktop?

For the cooktop, avoid induction if possible. Do not design the extractor hood at the cooktop as a downward extraction if you cannot tolerate drafts (at the feet). If you have enough money, there are ceiling-mounted downdraft extractor hoods for kitchen islands.

I mean, always with edge trim. The first one without it lasted exactly 4 weeks with us. With it, you have a crumb trap, but so what. You just had to clean.
