Shared drawers at Ikea FAKTUM?

Hello!

Today I watched some kitchen assembly videos on YouTube and came across a drawer division that I would like to know if it was standard in Faktum, if it only existed in the US kitchens AKURUM, or if this is a custom build (but I don't think so)? In this setup, there are two narrow drawers above wide drawers, which I have only known from "real" kitchen studios so far.

The next – more important – question would of course be whether this is also possible with Metod without having to build it yourself? Especially this metal strip under the drawers interests me. I haven’t seen anything about it so far, but that would be great.

Edit: Or does anyone know the term for this type of drawer construction? Then I can also google instructions myself.

The arrangement is often referred to as "2 2 drawers". In the Akurum buying guide, they were also included as a finished combination.

PS: With the current "Sektion" series, this arrangement apparently no longer exists.

And one more addendum: You will probably have to design the chipboard divider and the rail supporting the divider yourself. At Ikea USA, this thing was called "Partition drawer" or "Rail for Partition." They were available for various cabinet widths (can still be found via archive.org).

Great effort for an unpleasant appearance and loss of space.

... but then it looks like it's from a real kitchen studio :rolleyes: ...

I just realized that I only had cabinets with pull-outs in mind. With 2 doors, it looks better with two drawers. But who still takes such base cabinets?
