Curly didn’t write that at all. Only that heat pumps are generally louder than gas heaters.
That’s pretty much the same thing in green ;)
And I would also call that universally valid and sign off on it anytime.
I’m glad that was quicker than me in response to your post; you might reconsider your view on noise level. rather than mine.
As he rightly wrote, a boiler, more precisely the burner, also produces noise, usually inside the house. If the heat generator is in the basement, the residents don’t notice it so much; if it is installed at ground level, they probably will.
I hope we can both agree that "perceiving loudness" is something very personal. For one person, fleas cough too loudly, another (me, for example) can sleep well even at the airport :D
