I would just give the tip that you shouldn’t fixate on only one option, but rather give yourself more possibilities.
I will try that in the future. You somehow have your dream ideas and then you really are disappointed when you can’t implement something. I just plan a bit further ahead.
You will surely get good tips if you show the plot once.
I would like to, but my partner does not want me to show photos of the plot. Maybe I’ll still convince him.
By the way, my invitation still stands to at least "examine" the existing building for possible reuse, at least in parts.
We have that planned too, because at first a gut renovation was planned. But the house is actually not in a good condition, as a friend who knows about such things told us. We would also have to build quite an extension, etc. Maybe I’ll show that option sometime as well. I already planned it completely last year with the 3D program. Until we then came to the conclusion that we’d rather build new. But we’ll see what ultimately comes out of it.
My other invitation also stands: show some insights into the previous designs – who knows what good ideas we might find in them.
Unfortunately, I don’t have those anymore, because the program only allows a limited number of projects and I always have to delete the previous one when I start something new.
It’s best to think and draw more sketchily: a piece of paper and a pencil help a lot.
That would of course be the easy and quick way. But I really enjoy thinking everything through carefully and planning directly down to the smallest detail. That’s probably a mistake – in the end, you’re all the more disappointed if it can’t be realized.
