What speaks against the other plots?
Will the roof ridge direction be predetermined as you have sketched? If so, I would also think about the room layout in the house: An entrance on the short side of the house will probably (depending on room requirements) result in a long corridor. Although this does not necessarily mean more square meters than an entrance on the long side, it looks quite different (often tube-like).
In my opinion, an entrance on the long side is only nice if it is on the north (or at least east) side, so that you do not block the sunny sides (south during the day, west in the evening, when most workers come home).
Whether one finds it nice to place the entrance to the north on plot 2, or whether that is too hidden, can be discussed.
Therefore, if the choice is free – and otherwise comparable soil conditions – I would, for example, take the plot directly above No. 2.
If it has to be 1 or 2, I would take 1. With 2, there is the risk that the development plan stipulates construction quite close to the southern plot boundary and that you have a larger area behind the house than in front. Although, of course, there are also people who prefer a shaded seating area in summer...
