Hello everyone, what alternatives to conventional tiles can you recommend? Long-term experiences would be particularly helpful. Or is there no way around the good old tile?
The walk-in showers are fully tiled. In the bathrooms, design flooring will be installed on the floor. At the bathtub, toilet, and sink, we actually did not want to put tiles. Our friendly painter advised against it and recommended tiles.
All the colors he knows would be glossy and would therefore differ from the rest of the wall areas.
With neighbors, the slope in the shower was not tiled. The shower is also brand new. There, the wall was only painted and according to their painter, that works. The wall was not glossy if I remember correctly.
