Hi,

I would like to start a topic here about possible room fragrances.
I don’t mean bad air, but simply for example scented candles or room spray.
Do you use something like that?
So far, I have only used room spray in the bathroom, but the scent seemed somehow unnatural to me.
What do you use?

Senni

Hi Senni, I also use room spray in the bathroom from time to time. There are fresh flowers in the living room and they give a wonderful scent. In the kitchen, this is unnecessary and nothing artificial is used in the bedroom. In the evening, we also use scented candles and that creates a good atmosphere. Best regards Annegret

Good morning Senni,

I have the well-known spray (don’t want to advertise it right away) that prevents bad odors. It works quite well and gives us the feeling of fresh air. Especially now in winter, when you can’t keep the window open all day. Otherwise, not much. At most, a scented candle when we make ourselves cozy.

So I like scented candles in the bathroom and fresh flowers in the living area. But I also use room spray now and then. Here I like the lilac scent best.

In the bathroom, I use room spray, especially when my husband has been there. When I take a relaxing bath, scented candles are used. But a bowl with lemon peels is also often in my living area. I love that.

So I always try to manage without artificial scents by, for example, putting up flowers. If you like it: I usually have dried lavender in the bedroom. (Also packed in such small fabric sachets). What I personally love is the smell of citrus fruits. For this, I peel a lemon/orange and put it on the heater in winter, on a tea light stand in summer :) I almost completely forgot the following: I occasionally let herbs dry in the kitchen/dining room (rosemary, thyme, peppermint, whatever you like) and these also emit a very pleasant scent.
