live and let live. if you can do it yourself then buy and have it installed. don't believe that you will get another plumber for starvation wages who installs internet parts for you
What exactly is not "ideal"? Do you think the experience would be better now with a higher-quality rain shower or a professional installation?I’d say: it’s not exactly ideal, but we had to save back then... maybe in the wrong place?

I could basically choose here or just pay the product surcharge. Ultimately, I chose the Grohe Raindance Select S240 after I had also spoken directly with a lady from Grohe. I like the fixed shower (probably different as a man) from above, but honestly, I have tested the "rain function" as well as visitors, but I really don’t use it. In the other bathroom we have the Tempesta 210mm and I couldn’t tell you if there is a really noticeable difference. I would say, it’s nice and if it doesn’t cost much more you can do it, also the built-in installation, but you can also have a nice shower plus shower experience with less money, definitely. At first I wanted such a huge plate but luckily I was advised against it. I just checked, the Tempesta is available online for little money and then you can consider retrofitting something like that if it gets too expensive or complicated now. I definitely wouldn’t want to pay that surcharge and would rather invest the money in comfortable seating furniture or similar.Good question! Very good question! If with other "professional" rain showers it is also the case that it feels about 2 degrees colder from above, then the experience is probably the same. But I have to be honest (when I think about it), the "experience" was only the first two times, or the first 10 seconds. Ultimately, my daily work drives me, so I am rather a quick shower person where it has to be effective, so more the showerhead in hand. I find, to put it clearly, the rain shower is completely overrated, and a jet that is fixed from above is also not exactly practical. But it looks cool – and that is the thing with us: we have an extra hose since we already had a good thermostat. We rather seek the experience when bathing. Would we now decide on a 1000€ rain shower? Phew... probably not.

Ultimately, my daily work drives me so that I am more of a quick showerer where it has to be effective, so rather the handheld shower. To put it clearly, I find the rain shower completely overrated, and a stream fixed from above is not exactly practical either.
