But you really seem to be comparing apples and oranges there. You also don’t expect a BMW to cost the same as a Dacia. I’m not saying that Dacia is bad. But you have to decide whether you want "iregendwelche" Amazon parts or branded products from a specialist dealer. It’s up to everyone themselves.

Your comparison with car brands is a bit off, of course there is also a lot of belief involved, but there are also many hard facts (resale value of certain brands, lifespan, inventory, technical performance, etc.). The car market is definitely much more thoroughly examined.

Apart from the valid argument of the advantages of professional installation (expert installation, warranty), I haven’t read many hard facts about material selection here.

It therefore seems more like a risk decision. With the additional cost you take less risk, since the rain shower will probably work and if not, you have the warranty. If you trust yourself to do it on your own, you don’t have a warranty in case of doubt but get the same result for much less money.

You need to find out the exact names of the offered items at least. Then make sure you find the models on the internet and the markup will still be very high. Then decide for yourself whether you want to install it yourself.

The rain shower offered to me by you is a Concept 300 (incl. thermostat). Unfortunately, no exact detailed information can be found about it.

If you want to install it yourself or with a friend, why don’t you use a model that is proven or that you can test? Buying something for which I expect equal or better quality but cannot obtain any information would not be my choice. I don’t know the price of this Concept300, but why don’t you use a quality that is understandable and verifiable if you want to do it yourself? I had given you inexpensive brand models.

I don’t want to do it myself. With such a high amount, however, it is worth checking whether it is worthwhile to take the work out of the contract (and thereby lose advantages such as warranty etc.).
