so my TV + bracket weighs around 40kg. I wouldn't want to put that on a drywall. Regarding disturbances while watching TV: think carefully or have a look to see if the flickering of the fireplace bothers you while watching TV.

I have here practically framed our large bed in this way and built a wooden shelf on top. It stands rock-solid, possibly also because of the small, double-sided kink, but you could try it without at first or, if necessary, stiffen it to the ceiling. This wall as a partition between living room/dining room could be permanent for me and if necessary, your sofa could also stand there, if you want to place the TV on the opposite wall. Just as you said, the visual disturbance would be rather unpleasant to me as well and I would rather place the TV on a lowboard or any low-lying surface than hang it on a wall. This loose version in the picture is also anchored to the floor AND the ceiling, therefore it is not freely changeable or only with rework. But....that is just my OPINION-

I don’t think both run simultaneously, the problem is when the sofa is against the room divider; it’s difficult to look at the fireplace since you always have to look to the left, it’s more comfortable the other way around.

Why shouldn't the fireplace and TV run at the same time?

Of course, they can run simultaneously ..... if the TV is placed on a room divider, as mentioned, the view of the fireplace is more pleasant.

We have such an open room divider. Unfortunately, it is not quite finished yet.. One row of shelves is still missing at the top and the radiators (if you look closely, you can see them under the lowest shelf) will still be covered with slats... But maybe it will help you anyway..
