As long as the ash is cold, it is not a problem. The ash vacuums have a metal container, with which you can also vacuum warm/hot ash.

Hi Alessandro,

thank you very much for your assessment and experience

What is the model name of your Schmid stove?
It looks good in terms of size

PS the picture is not from our house but we positioned the stove similarly as a room divider

Thanks for the tip. I only need a dustpan. Hardly any ash accumulates in the masonry stove. We burn up to 13 kg in one burn. After that, removing the ash is not yet worth it.

We originally wanted a panoramic fireplace as a room divider. However, our stove builder expressly advised against it because too much heat is released uncontrollably into the room through the three glass panes.

We have now decided on a corner fireplace (HKD 11) from Brunner (which still has 11 kW) and built it up to the ceiling, integrating as much heat storage mass as possible.

Ps: Sorry for the duplicate picture, uploading and especially deleting images in this forum doesn't work properly with my phone.

Does the unit have 11kW or the entire system? The power rating for ovens refers to a period of time. As the storage mass increases, the power rating of the system to be specified decreases because the heat energy is shifted to a delivery time beyond the measurement duration.
