Room divider - one-sided or double-sided?

I would have used UA profiles at both ends instead of CW profiles, as are also used in the area of door frames.

Are these more stable? (Probably also more expensive, no idea why the drywall installer chose these then)

The walls will be double-boarded.

They are made of 2mm steel and the regular UD profiles are 0.6mm. To be fair, you have to say that screwing the plasterboards is not that easy because you have to go through more material.

Hello again,

the room dividers have been installed, I had a granite slab laid on top, and the tiled baseboards are also in place below; perhaps I should have waited for that.

I just don't know how best to cover them.

On one side there will be a TV, on the other side there will be a bench with a backrest, we have children and I want it to be resistant there.

What do you think, covering (if yes, what kind) or painting (which combination)?

Seat side white.
TV side with wall cladding. I use Planeo wall cladding for my TV wall – it will look like this later (also available in other colors, it is mm-thin natural stone):
