You should google it afterwards. You don't need XPS for the ceiling; you could just use EPS. But then you need much greater thicknesses (for both) to achieve the same insulation value. We had our reasons when we recommended PUR. Bausep would be another source...

What is to be thought of XPS rigid foam boards? You can get such things at the hardware store.

Sure, that works. Also any other styrofoam stuff. But 022 PUR/PIR aluminum = U-value 0.21 ==> for this insulation effect you need e.g. 16cm EPS (XPS) 035 If you have the ceiling height, you can of course take the cheapest stuff and just apply it thicker. But then in my example your ceiling ends up being less than 2m high.

I got my EPS from Bausep. He had it in stock. Dämmkontor would also be another contact point. I got my perlite there; they currently state a 15-30 working day delivery time for 40mm PUR insulation boards. At Bausep, the corresponding board is called Puren and has a 4-6 week delivery time.

Of course I can google and order it somewhere. I just hoped there would be a way without ~ 60€ shipping costs.

Uiuiui...a high goal......, I have usually found what I was looking for on classifieds etc. (dealers), when my craftsman said THAT is currently not available in Germany. Either you have shipping costs or you pay more.....
