If you’re lucky, you’ll find a building material dealer in your region when googling (for me it was Dämmkontor) who also sells to end customers. Otherwise, I claim that compared to DIY store prices and driving back and forth dozens of times (the stuff is bulky!) you’ll easily save the 60 EUR.

As hinted here, I got part of my insulation from . He lives about 150 km from me. The rental car (3.5t flatbed) cost a total of 150 EUR including diesel, and it was only worth it because I also picked up my front door on the way and, of course, because I got to meet Pagoni in real life  Otherwise, I could have just sent a forwarding agent there.

Never call me "Bausep" again, do you hear!
Actually, my stock still hasn't been picked up, but now it has been promised for tomorrow, otherwise it goes under the hammer. Unreliability wherever you look, that makes me happy about our

um... don’t misjudge the dimensions with me. It briefly got dark in the village when the goods arrived by truck.

Regarding bulky: 5m x 4m x 0.1m (two layers of 5cm each) results in a volume of 2 m³. That should be transportable with a not too tiny trailer. Or do I have a calculation error there?

Two more questions that have come up for me regarding this: - What is the advantage of 2x50mm compared to 1x100mm with the same material? - What is the preferred method of attachment? One mainly reads about bonding, but there are apparently also rail systems or screwing.

That you have two layers and can stagger the joints ;-)

You can then bond them staggered and don’t have continuous joints that go all the way through to the concrete. Otherwise none.

Bonding. There is nothing easier and faster (possibly also cheaper?).
