Roller shutters let through a lot of light

@ypg I found this end piece under "Endstabgleiter" on Google. The thing is slightly transparent, so even if everything everything everything went all the way down, light would still come in there.

that is probably an angle end strip. Google tells me that this means the roller shutter cannot completely disappear into the roller shutter box. But because of that, the end strip cannot directly go into the guide either, because the angle is in the way.

I would remove these end rod sliders and see if the roller shutter then goes all the way down. And then, treat the shiny surface so that the subsequent light does not refract too strongly.

I only just noticed that you still have space between the window and the roller shutter for a fly screen. You could try filling this gap at the bottom with a simple square plastic tube, then no light should come in from below anymore.

Or directly install a fly screen with a four-sided plastic frame as a test and see if it works.
