Roller shutter guides too short?

Someone did not measure correctly.

The measurement was done correctly. But the end pieces were not notched out. It is also a matter of the contract as to which installation was agreed upon. You won't be able to fix it properly afterwards.

I don't understand the part about notching out. Where exactly does something need to be notched out? It should be enough that the guide/strip is simply longer and rests on it.

It just doesn't look long enough to me.

I also think that the guide rails are too short. Where should anything be "unhooked" there...?

Spicily, they did it "wrong" or correctly in one place, by accident, and now want to adjust the rest accordingly.

In my opinion, it should be like that everywhere. I also wouldn't know what else would have to be ordered or commissioned. Skirting board down to the bottom and done, technically there is no other option, except shortening it.

Construction company says it has to be this short because of water so that it does not accumulate there.

So what is correct now?

Then the roller shutter ends on the end piece (used with ETICS) and must be notched so that the roller shutter ends on the windowsill.

So I’m with you. Guide rail too short. Possibly just adjust the roller shutter a bit differently (as a temporary solution).

The guide rails are usually pushed on. This can only be fixed (with a longer guide rail) if the window is completely removed.
