Doesn't seem to be a super trustful relationship with the developer. Too bad for you. So apparently you want something for the "damage". Then just try it. But don't be surprised if the next extra costs twice as much.

Well, I ask you.. It is his job to build properly for the good money. Nobody really says anything about 1-2 cm. But here, a planned piece of furniture doesn't fit. Imagine that with an already planned kitchen, when suddenly everything has to be thrown overboard. Or the door of the utility room overlaps 5 cm with the wall of the attached garage. And even with such an error, you cave in because you’re afraid of reprisals? As I said, just speak about it reasonably and see what happens. Maybe he reacts completely understanding and you find a solution? It usually works if you strike the right tone. Regards Joe

Are there real problems with it now or are we all still looking for them?

Sure, but here it’s apparently not a furniture problem, but the search for mistakes in order to save money in some way. The developer will know that too. We also had such "minor issues." But if it was really unimportant, we didn't dwell on it. The relationship was probably a bit more open and cordial. But in return, we also got the occasional bargain where he corrected real mistakes and found a higher quality compensation. It always depends. As the saying goes, how you call into the forest... that applies to both sides.

We also had something like that. In our case, the developer voluntarily offered an upgrade elsewhere which was cheap for him and would have been more expensive for us. Win-win and no bad vibes.

the search for errors? Sorry, if you have blind trust in your construction company, then fine, but if I ultimately spend almost 1 million marks on house and land, then I also want everything to be right. And it was a simple re-measuring to see if everything fits and not a search for errors! 1,000,000 marks....What you could have gotten for that back then And who says there won’t be a furniture problem later because of those stupid 10cm?
