we bought the kitchen from our previous tenant. The plastic cover of the control panel on the dishwasher is brittle and partly coming off. Is it possible to reorder it somewhere?
I would be very grateful for a good tip.

Hello,

you cannot order a spare part directly from Ikea, unless it is a warranty case. However, you can try to order this cover from the manufacturer. In your case, it should be Whirlpool. Look on the door of your dishwasher; the serial number is there and behind it should be WH. If that is the case, google the Whirlpool hotline or send them an email online. They will then need this serial number and, if it is still in stock, can immediately tell you the price for this part.

That is not entirely correct. In case of a warranty, IKEA refers to the manufacturer's hotline. IKEA itself does not order replacement parts for electrical devices. In warranty cases that extend beyond the 2-year manufacturer's warranty, the customer orders the replacement part or the technician, pays the invoice from the manufacturer, and is reimbursed by IKEA upon submission of the invoices (IKEA and original manufacturer invoice).

Hello, thank you very much for the answers. We called Bauknecht, this ridiculous plastic part costs a whopping 96 euros!!! We have decided against it. Best regards Martina
