It is supposed to be a relatively ordinary pale yellow house with white collars, but the idea of the curved edge is a good suggestion. I’ll take that to the house builder. They definitely have that in their program, let’s see how much it will cost. We want to stay well below the price for shutters. I had hoped that there is some kind of formula from which you can derive the thickness of the casings from the wall and window area. A kind of "golden ratio" for casings. I hope the architect can give us recommendations about the size of the windows and thus also the casings.I personally would prefer a different surface grain even with the same thickness – so probably jambs and casings in a later work step. What is it supposed to be ( ): a colorful house with white collars around the windows? – I would find "old-fashioned" embossed nice, as a natural stone imitation, and with a curved upper edge for example.
