Hello everyone,
Before our move, we sold all corded garden tools and would now like to acquire battery-powered garden tools for the new house. Initially, I need a battery-powered grass trimmer. Hedge and shrub shears will follow later, and possibly a manual lawnmower as well. And whatever else one needs over time.
I have now seen that there is an 18V system from Bosch. Since I already have a Bosch Uneo, I would already have a battery for it. But the grass trimmer costs almost twice as much as the equivalent from Einhell. I don't know much about the brand. I once had a mower from them, which was actually okay. And a corded cultivator, which was also okay.
My sister said that there are also systems from brand manufacturers that are partially compatible with discount store devices. Is that true?
Then there is also such a system with combo batteries from Gardena. (?)
Who among you has experience with the individual manufacturers and has several devices that share the batteries? Can you recommend something, are you satisfied?
Of course, I want to acquire everything (gradually) from one manufacturer and not have 3 different battery systems.
