Originally, it was about the estimated amount of 3 cooking points x 20min x 2kW, and with that I can easily manage side dishes alongside the 10 minutes for the steak. That is enough, for example, to cook potatoes (which take a few more minutes until they boil, but the meat only 10 minutes), or other things. Easily. So read carefully :P

I am not questioning your cooking. I am just comparing it with my wife's cooking, and there is a world of difference. Not to mention when I cook, but that is only on holidays for menus. The other comparison for me was also about a total consumption of 600kWh, and with 2 kWh per day you already have more just from cooking.

I don't think so, but I suspect you are misjudging the 2kW, that is a kettle at full power. You usually don't need that much; for example, when water in a pot boils once, a fraction of that is enough to keep it boiling; overall, with the mentioned 2kWh you can cook more or longer than you might think.

Don’t worry, I don’t see it as a judgment ;)
We usually have breakfast and lunch at work. In the evening we do cook, but I would say rather "small things," like pasta, a steak, or something au gratin. But not a roast simmering for 4 hours... On Sundays we cook bigger!
If you calculate it like that, we also need 2KW per day. Our LED lighting is negligible. The (52") LED TV, measured at 110 watts/hour, also doesn’t make much difference. The majority is probably used for cooking, the coffee machine, and the washing machine...

Is there maybe also a photovoltaic system on the roof?

No, it’s a 75m² apartment in a 10-family house without photovoltaics. As I said, a big advantage is that hot water is generated through district heating, then during the day we are both working and all consumers are A+(++)...

Admittedly, I was surprised myself. After the first year, madame forced me to look for a cheap electricity tariff, since we were still on the basic tariff ;) We still are today, because every other tariff with a basic fee is more expensive. Currently paying about 20 euros a month :-)
