I would like to chime in here, not about being a smart aleck, but about the lamella [emoji6]
Does Warema offer S-lamellas? It seems to me they only have the "normal" and the very technical-looking Z-lamellas.
We are also currently deciding on the lamellas. The woman needs it pitch dark, so we are going with normal lamellas and internal blackout. Light comes in anyway with venetian blinds, so the Z is rather out for us, it doesn’t really add any value (for us) and we don’t like the technical look that much.
What’s more on our mind: hemmed edge or without hemming, side-guided or cord-guided...
How do you do it?
Advantage of unhemmed: more delicate, understated look, smaller packed size, don’t crease as easily (they do warp, but no creasing).
Side guidance: possibly somewhat more wind-stable (no rattling/hitting against the window)
Control (wind sensor and "logic") according to the current status via KNX... is likely to be cheaper for us than conventional.
