We have already discussed this topic here before, and it was also reported that the sOnro does not produce very much light. And it is logical when you compare it to the large openings of a venetian blind and the light-directing effect of the slats.

Hello,

we are currently facing the same problem.

Is Warema Roma to be preferred?

We are actually considering S-louvers or the new CDL, although I don't like the look of them in the pictures, but they are technically up to date and probably more wind-resistant.

What do you think about it?

So after the weekend (in which we discussed extensively once again), the decision is about 80% made so to speak: Z-lamella in the bedroom (we never have it completely dark anyway and that’s enough for us), 80S on the other windows. Since the bedroom window is on a wall with a large sliding door (which will also get a Raffstore) but is somewhat unusual in shape and length anyway, we don’t mind having two different lamellae on one house wall.

I just happened to track down a colleague who also installed Warema. I will have a look there this week.

Only with the control system we are still not quite sure... but maybe the colleague can help with that too!

Thanks already for your suggestions

Since I can report from practical experience and not just theoretical considerations or assumptions: children's rooms and bedrooms on the south side make S_Onro sensible. The living room does not need S_Onro because 100% blackout is not necessary.

That would also be my question, since our GÜ works with Roma. I do not yet have a detailed product qualification.

I can't say anything about that because our architect always uses Warema.

We have now also made our decision final. The 80S slats will be installed everywhere. We were allowed to look again at acquaintances' places and we like it much better than the Z slat - it somehow looks "friendlier" overall!
