Problem with base plaster - microcracks?

The damage pattern does indeed look like salt formation, which indicates a defect in the plaster (during the manufacture of the plaster).

I did not mean the sealing under the plaster. Base plaster should be "sealed" in the part in contact with the ground. For example, with Knauf Sockeldicht etc.

We also have base cracks, first hairline cracks and then they widened. First on the sunny sides and then also on the shady sides. We have been living in it for 3 years already. The base must be replastered. Allegedly, water only rises in these cracks once a certain width is reached. However, I noticed this early spring that water also rises in the hairline cracks. A narrow dark streak formed along the cracks. These water entry points should not be tolerated! However, in our case, they appear without discoloration and at regular intervals, just like the dimensions of the underlying material. Do not be appeased, the cracks must go.

I got in touch with a building surveyor through a friend. He at least looked at the pictures and was sure that moisture evaporates through fine cracks in the plaster and then leads to salt deposits.

The plasterer now just wants to paint over it again, which I have forbidden him to do. I think a plaster renovation is unavoidable.

I now have the information about the plaster and paint. Knauf Sockel Lup was used as lightweight plaster. The paint was Knauf Autol Premium Silicon Resin Facade Paint with Self-Cleaning Effect

If I were you, I would send the pictures to Knauf customer service and ask what might be the issue.
