Crazy, never seen anything like it before and hardly anyone will offer it to you like this, so it will be expensive. How is the roof supposed to be built anyway? Also large precast concrete parts, then somehow formwork them to fit (despite the slope) and pour? Or how is such a roof constructed?

A lot of concrete, steel, and time goes into it...

I recently saw a house, or rather a villa with a concrete gable roof, in the construction phase. My boss slammed on the brakes to look because someone nearly drove into us. The roof was shuttered, reinforced, and poured on site. In one of the most expensive residential areas of Munich. Exposed concrete is EXPENSIVE! And with the rapidly rising material prices for steel and concrete, soon you could also build massively with marble.

That’s true, although exposed concrete is only expensive if perfection is demanded.

You can simply leave concrete filigree ceilings exposed, for example, you just have to like it.

Building cheaply is easiest by trimming down the design and technology.

Bungalow with a shed roof, square, simple heating system, kitchen bought second hand almost new at a third of the price beforehand, etc.

Thanks for the hint! So.. folks, yes. Of course it's not cheap if you install huge window fronts and line everything inside with wood. Clearly. I had just read an article about the "Mami House" by José Carlos Nunes de Oliveira, which he built for €100,000. I’m not allowed to link anything here, so look it up yourself. In Portugal, it's probably a bit different because of the temperatures. But I thought, put a pitched roof on this block and it's almost exactly what we're looking for.

Thanks for your thoughts. I probably have to let go of some ideas. But I said it could also be just one floor if there are enough rooms. That means just under 130m2 would be sufficient, and thus with full use of the dimensions, a second floor is not necessary. Better anyway as you get older.

TmMike_2 There is insulating concrete, e.g. from Technolith, but as I see on the website, they have ceased operations. Thanks for the kitchen tip.
