Yep, how many cm between the end of the glass wall and the beginning of the bathtub? And... maybe there would also be room for an additional toilet or is there no need?

Is this a new building? Single-family house and not a multi-story residential building? Only if both answers are "Yes" do you have influence on the drainage, which could still throw a huge wrench in your plans.

I also don't see any recesses in your plan... those also need a lot of space, the toilet about 15 cm depth.

exactly 60cm
just as you guessed

one could certainly consider that in the upper right corner of the room. But I think it will remain with one next to the bathroom.

yes, it is a new building, it is a multi-family apartment.
here again the excerpt from the plan, bathroom and toilet

of course, this still needs to be clarified

here also the raw structural dimensions of both

variant bathtub and shower with Ytong in between is how I imagine it, with that the shower would be about 80x100cm

alternatively, bathtub with 170cm, then the shower would be 90x100.
the door frame would of course have to be taken into account, since this wall is drywall, it is still possible to move the door if necessary

I would think about it again calmly, possibly at least provide for it! Who knows.... Maybe you have to see it live somewhere... feel it... because of distances etc. The variant of a shower wall on the bathtub is perhaps more space-saving but doesn't really appeal to me. Maybe there are some nice solutions for that...

I have a bathroom about the same size as yours. After much back and forth, I decided not to get a bathtub. In the end, I don't need it that often. It's a bit of a shame - but only a little bit. Instead, I have a "low-maintenance" shower without hinges on the glass wall and big enough so that it doesn't splash out. Maybe that could be an idea too?

I am meeting the installer on site on Wednesday, then I'll take a look at it live.
The precondition is, as you say, that you have to get a feel for it, let's see.

Definitely something to consider, the longer you think about it the more practical it would be.
Thanks for the suggestion.
