I wouldn’t take the plot right now. It is larger, but only slightly. Also, you don’t really see the "size" because it is around the corner.
I would choose one from the terraced houses. There’s nothing wrong with that; it is built efficiently and the garden is located behind the house. That’s just simple.

I wouldn’t want a south-facing garden at all. It would be too warm for me most of the time (and the lawn would be too dry).

For me, there really is nothing against one of the smaller plots.

I wouldn’t prefer 29 either, due to the narrow tapering shape in the garden. I would take 24. With 25, you have the footpath there, people automatically look into your garden and you can also hear if someone is walking and talking. With 24, I would hope that you can get even more light into the house through an already mentioned gable window or something similar. Otherwise, I don’t find the orientation bad, a south-facing garden gets really hot in summer. In my opinion, that’s only something for when you really have many tall trees that provide shade. Otherwise, in this hot weather, you can hardly sit on the terrace, at least that’s how it is for us.

We are also wavering between 24 and 29.

The 24 has more southwest side, but it is very "in the middle." To the south of it, multi-family houses are to be built and right in front of the driveway we have a traffic island. Therefore, currently our tendency is more towards 29.

Hmm. I think I would also take the 29 with a multi-family house opposite. How tall will it be? Presumably, it casts a large shadow on the houses behind, and there is of course much more activity in front of the house than on the side.

I would personally go for 29 because it would be more practical for me in daily life.

23, 24, 25 are about 12m wide. You have a parking space next to the house and one has to be in front of the house. You also have to put the garbage cans somewhere. Where do you put the bicycles and how do you get them onto the street? Access to the front door if there is a parking space in front of the house? From my point of view, all this can be solved much better with 29.

The garden behind the house is bigger with 23, 24, 25, but if you put a garage next to the house, you have no direct access to the garden, unless you also put a big gate at the back.

I wouldn’t mind the path. There won’t be that much louder traffic there. Whoever doesn’t want to be looked at just shields themselves. As far as I’m concerned, people can calmly see the stairs or something through the window. In the end, you make your own castle there, no matter what.

Maybe also ask if the row properties have a servitude path at the back. It wasn’t marked for us either. We can also enter the gardens from the back.

The bikes can go in the front yard, just like the trash bins. You can cover it, then it looks nice and everything stays dry.
Usually, the car stays on the street and the garage gets full. The bikes could go there too. It depends on how often you need them. I use mine several times daily and therefore just keep it in the hallway. But that will probably be difficult for families (although everyone here does it that way due to lack of space or garden).
