Hello,

unfortunately, we cannot realize our planned 4x6m wooden post garage, so it will be a prefabricated garage.

We have 475cm from the house to the boundary. Our idea is to leave 75cm of space next to the garage towards the boundary for a slope or a green strip. The garage would be, for example, 298, then 102 would remain between the house and the garage as a passage to the garden, for example.

We are unsure whether the prefabricated garage can be placed directly against the house because of moisture, etc. What do you think? Is 75cm too narrow for a slope? Is 102 enough as a passage between the garage and the house?

We could also place it right on the boundary, but then we might need an expensive retaining wall, but we are not sure.

Use the 75 cm as well, depending on what the neighbors do you have wasted space there that gets cluttered. And 3 meters is little for a garage.

Directly to the house is not a problem, often seen in terraced housing estates or semi-detached houses. What should go into the garage? You can create usable width if you use the house wall simultaneously as the garage wall. A wooden construction is likely more practical and cheaper than a prefabricated garage.

Clarify the height differences with your neighbor. What height does he plan for the "top edge of the planned terrain"? I would also place the garage directly on the boundary.

3m would be a compromise to not place the garage against the house and to have an open path to the garden at the back, not necessarily through the garage.

A car should go into the garage and winter tires, 2-3 bicycles, bike rack at the back.
The problem with the wooden construction (timber frame) is probably the slight slope, as we probably need to fill in a bit at the rear area of the garage, concrete would be better suited there.

You can pave and support or concrete the subsoil and ground like a terrace. At the same time, you lay the foundation for the posts. Think along the lines of a "closed carport leaning against the house with a gate in front and a door at the back."
