My consumption: 150sqm without basement, no electric car, air-water heat pump indoor installation, 4 people. Window ventilation. Building envelope KfW 40, no controlled residential ventilation. Move-in 08.08.19. Meter reading yesterday 2619kWh for everything. You can see, electricity consumption is very individual to assess.

I do not deny anyone an individual electricity consumption, but concluding from an apartment to a single-family house, semi-detached house or end terrace house on the consumption + 1000kWh buffer may also be wrong.

For example, in the apartment (ground floor) we previously had a constant electricity consumption per year of 2500kWh without electric car (3 years ago). Now, of course, there are also permanent consumers, some larger, that simply were not there in the apartment before.

Roger guys. I will visit the forum. 150sqm KFW 55 no electric car. Working during the day No basement Of course, this must be assessed differently, but now we have these values

I have 19.4KW on the roof and all 4 cardinal directions covered. I even have 3-5KW production on cloudy days in winter, which should be enough during the day to supply the heat pump and house. The problem is only at night, but storage is definitely still too expensive then.

have you ever thought about raising the heat pump's flow temperature by 1 to 2 degrees and then only running it during the day?

It would be interesting to see how well that works, and it should already be profitable if it is then practically almost exclusively powered by photovoltaic electricity.

Yeah, I'll do that sometime too, just haven't had time for such experiments until now.
