Photovoltaic system: How much kWp is sufficient for a house?

3500kw in the apartment? What are you doing? We currently have just under 1600kw with 2 adults and 2 children and we also cook every evening....

1600 kWh, without fridge, TV and so on? A bit little, but good if you have to buy little electricity. We have about 2400 kWh/a with 2 people

No, we have everything, both the refrigerator and the large freezer are also only A-rated appliances, and we have a dishwasher that runs every two days, the TV is always on in the evening. Apart from a continuous flow water heater, we don’t have one, but we do have a gas boiler that also draws some electricity. In summer, the refrigerator and freezer run at full speed because we have an attic apartment that some days in summer reaches over 30° C....

Have you ever calculated whether it can even be worth it? Self-consumption is by no means free of charge either. In addition, you accept efficiency killers like extremely large hot water storage and buffer tanks.

I am actually quite satisfied with my consumption, despite the buffer. The question is, where is it actually stated that the buffer is an efficiency killer? Sure, it has losses, but so does an electricity storage system. When you google it, you only find posts in forums but not a single article about it.

so.. we have increased the system to 6.84kWp. More probably wouldn't fit on the roof, unless we increase the power per module. Now there are 19 modules, without storage. 1kWp = 1345€. If I did everything correctly.

Pretty little... we have as heavy users the washing machine, dryer, dishwasher. Otherwise, all the small stuff like coffee machine... TV (rarely on)
