Currently, we pay 200 euros per year for heating costs in the apartment. What costs significantly more is the hot water; here we currently pay about 600 euros per year. Then there is the regular household electricity, for us 3000 kWh per year (about 1300 euros). Since we currently get heating and hot water from district heating, it is not clear to me how much additional electricity costs for the heat pump will be annually when I then live in a semi-detached house (4 people) about 120m2 KFW 40 QNG.

The basic connections are known to you, though? kfw 40 has a maximum heating demand per sqm and year. If you know how many sqm you get, you can roughly calculate the kWh as a guideline. After that, it depends on the heat pump used and your electricity tariff.

With heating costs of 200€ per year, the question arises, is the house located in Germany or in the Mediterranean region? Does the house have underfloor heating with water, or how is it heated?

You are asking the wrong question. The correct one would be: What are my heating costs in a 120sqm new building with a heat pump? You already know the electricity costs for your private enjoyment. Those do not change with a different property. The heating costs = electricity consumption is the only unknown. And that depends both on your behavior and the heating system design. At 25 degrees room temperature and simultaneously open windows, because "one" absolutely always needs fresh air, the consumption will differ significantly from 21 degrees and use of controlled residential ventilation. Calculate with the already mentioned 1,500-2,000kWh. Then simply multiply by an electricity price and you know what your maximum electricity costs are. Maximum, because you still have to subtract photovoltaic yields. With my 10kW system without storage I have about 25% self-consumption, i.e. around 2,500kWh (with e-car as mentioned). If you have storage, you get up to 45% self-consumption, so about 1,800 kWh self-consumption that you can deduct from your total consumption. P.S. Please let go of 40 QNG. That says absolutely nothing about the actual consumption. Just say "new building" with photovoltaic and heat pump.

Hello Nida35a,
I currently live in an apartment in a multi-family house.
I paid about 1200 euros for heating, hot water, and cold water in 2022.

Heating (underfloor heating): 230 euros per year (of which about 150 are basic costs and 80 euros consumption) - 880 kWh district heating.
Hot water: about 500 euros 47m3
Cold water: about 370 euros 112m3

Hello Karsten,
Thank you very much.
Since we now pay about 200 euros for heating (energy efficient B, I think something around 80), I thought in the new build with KfW 40 we would pay even less. :)
The second unknown for me is hot water, currently we consume about 50 m3 per year. Do you have experience with a heat pump?
How much electricity is needed for 50 m3 per year?

Thanks a lot to you all
