The screed was laid on 22nd/23rd January with an additive, and the tilers started on 28th January. They worked hard, as they were only allowed to ventilate very carefully, and the heat pump's heating program was switched on on 26th January. A very ambitious schedule, but the developer is liable for every tile that cracks, since they are also their tilers. Next weekend, our 10-day time window for painting work begins - with painter’s fleece on the ceilings to come back to the original thread [Malervlies]. On the walls, the Erfurt Flaxx 100 non-woven wallpaper will be applied. I am curious whether there will be enough time for some filling, sanding, priming, wallpapering... We will probably only manage to paint later. Moving date is 15th March.

I also installed about 200 sqm of fleece on the ceiling together with my father; after a few strips, it works quite well, you get the hang of the paste technique/consistency, and we managed to do everything without gaps or seams. It was important for us to "coat" both the ceiling and the fleece, as the ceiling still absorbed quite a bit despite the primer. We built a kind of bridge from ladder platforms/chairs so that we could install long strips in one piece. Before sticking the first strip, we projected a straight line onto the ceiling with a laser and traced it with a pencil. We also started relatively soon after the screed, actually without time pressure, but I didn’t have any time off and could only work in the evenings/on weekends. Despite high humidity, all the fleeces have been on the ceiling after almost 2 years. On most walls, we also used Erfurt fleece wallpaper (I prefer to have something under the paint), and I no longer even think about the quantities. If you want to complete walls and ceilings in 10 days, you really have to push yourself (depending on how much support you have – two-person "teams" are always best, one pastes, the other works behind).

Do you get tiles everywhere? What kind of plaster? Keeping my fingers crossed for you that everything goes smoothly - even after moving in.

@ BeHaElJa: Gypsum plaster or in the bathrooms lime cement plaster. Ground floor and attic completely tiled, upper floor vinyl flooring.

According to the installation standard, that can never be the case, because the residual moisture will still be far too high

Anhydrite or cement screed?

EveundGerd, which Komar photo wallpaper do you have and could you possibly send me a photo of it? We are also considering getting a Komar photo wallpaper, but I’m afraid it might not look that nice... By the way, we have also been debating for months whether to plaster the walls, cover them with fiberglass fleece and paint them, or "just" wallpaper them. A decision still hasn’t been made.
