The easiest way is (as is common) to detach yourself from the idea "I am building a single-family house + granny flat – I will get double funding and also rent." Build a regular single-family house and, besides the mentioned standard EL, you will see how affordable it becomes.

Do you want to lower the ceilings? That is a task you can still easily do yourself.

Thank you all! I had already tried the forum search too, but unfortunately always got stuck in some threads that were so interesting that I stayed for 20 minutes, for example about the million-dollar villa of . That happened to me 3 times, so I had to ask the question now. But thanks very much for the links!! We had the demolition done by , but took everything out ourselves beforehand. Didn’t gut it, but back then we still thought we would get the KFW subsidy ;) Ok :) One should think about who you know in your circle of acquaintances.

This is a special case in our situation because a) there is a slope and b) my grandma is involved. I described this in more detail in the KFW funding thread :)

Rather not, since we have deliberately planned a floor height increase in our living floor. We also do not want to give that up; we would rather forgo tinted windows or similar.

That's true...

Luxury problems. But then please don't complain about the missing funding that was planned for expensive special requests ;)
