I see it the same way. However, it is then not necessary for us to purchase a high-end model. If it only runs occasionally, the one for 399.- K is also sufficient.

Wow, there are two of us and our dishwasher runs daily, maybe even more often. But cooking is done every day as well. Maybe a holiday apartment with a dishwasher would be preferred? I know my mother was always happy about that. Just so you know: washing up by hand uses more water and energy ;)

Throw it out!? Not the cast iron. For antique silver even more reprehensible...

Well, I have to say, the dishwasher runs once a day here. In the morning, dishes/cutlery from breakfast plus the mixing bowl and glasses from shakes/smoothies plus coffee cups. Lunch is usually out, but at least one person brings homemade food, which results in dirty dishes coming back. Anyway, our two thermal cups come back dirty in the evening. And cooking is done in the evening.

Even if the machine is only 75% full afterwards, I turn it on. There are half programs, after all. And I don't worry about water. The idea that it has to be saved is nonsense here in Germany. Besides, I never run an eco program. Hot and plenty. Good for the durability of the machine. And having to buy a new one earlier ruins any saved environmental balance.

On weekdays, the dishwasher runs every 2 or 3 days; on weekends, daily, sometimes even more often during the day.

I only take holiday apartments and houses with a dishwasher, camping, glamping, and the like without.

Yes, a lot of thought has gone into our architecture...

So, sanctioning non-compliance with the house rules by providing private apartments with their own kitchen would at least not have been my first (or second, or third) consideration. Send me to a weekly training session for that!

Include a dishwasher, but just don’t provide suitable accessories. ;)

(Or I still haven’t understood it?)
